Work for us

Aerowork has been helping Kiwi farmers get the nutrients they need onto some of the most challenging landscapes in the world. From pilots and engineers to loader drivers, coordinators and support teams, it takes a dedicated group of professionals working together to deliver results for farmers. Working at Aerowork means being part of a business with a proud aviation heritage and a strong connection to rural communities.

Aerowork offers the chance to be part of a skilled and respected team supporting farmers across rural New Zealand.

Working at Aerowork you will work alongside experienced aviation and rural professionals who take pride in doing the job properly. Whether you are in the cockpit, the hangar, on the ground crew or supporting operations behind the scenes, every role is valued and contributes to delivering reliable service to farmers. The work is practical, rewarding and team-focused, with a strong emphasis on safety, professionalism and supporting one another to get the job done.

Current Vacancies

Chief Pilot

Aerowork is seeking an experienced Chief Pilot to lead our flight operations across New Zealand. This is a senior leadership role with genuine scope and influence — you will be responsible for the safety, performance, and development of a geographically dispersed pilot group, while supporting the continued growth of one of New Zealand's leading agricultural aviation businesses.

The Chief Pilot oversees all flight operations, ensuring compliance with Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) regulations, maintaining operational safety standards, and managing pilot training and performance.

You will lead and manage our pilot group, who are based in different parts of the country and operate from Aerowork-owned or leased airstrips and aerodromes. Due to the nature of agricultural aviation and the weather windows that dictate flying schedules, oversight of flight operations will at times extend into weekends, with higher workloads during the main spreading seasons in Autumn and Spring.

Lead the commercial engine behind New Zealand’s most capable aerial spreading network.

Aerowork is entering its next phase of growth. We’re looking for a commercially astute, strategically minded sales leader to design and drive the sales engine that will unlock new opportunity across New Zealand’s hill country.

If you’re motivated by building structure, creating momentum, and delivering measurable revenue impact — this is your opportunity to shape the future of a critical rural service business.

This is not a traditional sales role. It’s about building a sustainable sales approach.

You will design and embed the commercial frameworks, campaigns and messaging that strengthen Aerowork’s market position, increase customer lifetime value, and deepen integration with Ravensdown’s national sales strategy.
