 To our farming clients

First as the new Ravensdown Aerowork CEO, I’m really glad to be able to introduce myself. It is an honour to step into this role. At just over one month into the role, I’m enjoying the contacts made with you so far, seeing what you do, and seeing the amount and evenness of growth on the hills during my road travels.

I’m looking forward to working to support our shared commitment to the core of what is New Zealand – your farms.  

 My background is in aviation operations, engineering and safety, both here and overseas, and I grew up in Northland spotting many Fletchers coming in on airstrips. Both are influences that I’ll use to guide and lead Aerowork to improve and innovate to help keep your farms optimally aerially fertilised.

Spring is coming and that usually means a busy time for us. A lot of calls tend to come in as everyone wants their fertiliser on at the same time. Can I therefore encourage you to call us, your usual pilot, or your local rep now to get your aerial spreading orders in so that our pilots, loader drivers and area coordinators can plan ahead.

I know times are tough for our industry and every dollar has to count, so we’ll work with you on your options and be transparent about what can work for you.

In addition to your usual Aerowork contacts, I’m also available and if there is anything you’d like to discuss with me, then please call or email me.

Naturally, the weather always plays an important part too. We’ll be watching for all available good weather gaps to take off and get your product spread, whilst staying on the ground when we must to ensure we all stay save.

From what I have seen so far, I know that Aerowork is an amazing and dedicated team very capable at maintaining and keeping air craft available in the peak seasons. Compared to other spreaders, we use

NZ designed and built aircraft optimised for the largest load carrying capability giving both faster application and more accurate placement.

I’m excited about this role and together with our team I’m really looking forward to every opportunity to meet and work with you for the best aerial spreading job on your farms.
